Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who is ambulatory transportation for?

Patients who can walk on their own or with light assistance, a steadying arm, extra time, help with the door. If a rider uses a walker or cane, we've got them covered. Every ride is door to door, never curb to curb.

What does door-to-door service mean?

Your driver doesn't wait at the curb. They meet you at your front door, help you into the vehicle, walk you to the check-in desk at your appointment, and do the same in reverse on the way home.

Can I book a round trip, or just one-way?

Either one. Tell us when you request the ride and we'll set it up as a one-way drop-off or a full round trip with a pickup time for the way home.

Can an ambulatory ride become a standing weekly schedule?

Yes. If the appointment repeats, like therapy or a specialist follow-up series, we can set it up as a recurring ride so you're not rebooking every week. See our recurring rides page for details.

Are your drivers trained for medical passengers?

Yes. Every driver is CPR, AED, and First-Aid certified, and our whole team is HIPAA-trained, so your health information and your safety are both handled with care.
